Project overview

The Lowe’s Pro Rewards Sharing experience enables customers to share and reclaim loyalty benefits within their organization, extending the value of earned rewards across their team. Customers can select a colleague, choose multiple benefits—including e-gift cards, discounts, and complimentary items—and review their selections before confirming the transfer.

The experience combines reward distribution with ongoing management. A centralized hub provides access to sharing, reclaiming, activity history, and previously shared benefits, helping customers understand where rewards have been allocated and manage them beyond the initial transaction.

My role as Lead Product Designer

I led the design of the benefit-sharing experience, from early flow mapping through high-fidelity mobile interface design. My focus was on making reward allocation straightforward while preserving visibility and control over benefits shared across an organization.

I structured the sharing journey around a clear sequence: choose the recipient, select the benefits, review, and confirm. A searchable recipient list helps customers locate colleagues, while keeping the recipient’s name visible during benefit selection reinforces who will receive the rewards. I organized benefits into recognizable categories and designed multi-select states so customers could share different reward types in a single flow.

I also established the hierarchy of the management hub, giving sharing and reclaiming equal prominence while separating those actions from activity history and the overview of shared benefits. The supporting flows account for reviewing allocations by recipient and confirming a reclaim action, treating ongoing management as an essential part of the experience rather than an afterthought.

Throughout the interface, I used the Pro rewards visual identity, consistent benefit cards, and clear selection feedback to connect the workflow to the broader loyalty experience.

A central design priority was balancing flexibility with accountability—making rewards useful to more people within an organization while keeping allocation decisions clear, intentional, and manageable.
