Project overview

My Card Benefits brings bonus rewards, merchant offers, and cardholder benefits into a connected experience across desktop and mobile. Customers can track progress toward a credit card bonus, discover and activate cash-back offers for eligible purchases, and explore benefits such as travel, dining, entertainment, and purchase protection.

The companion My Wells Fargo Deals experience provides a dedicated destination for browsing offers, searching by location, and reviewing available, earned, and expired deals. Together, these experiences help customers understand both the value they have already earned and the opportunities available through their card.

My role as Lead Product Designer

I led the design of the benefits dashboard and merchant-deals experience, from early wireframes through responsive, high-fidelity interface design. My focus was on translating different reward structures, eligibility requirements, and benefit categories into a cohesive experience with clear paths to action.

I established an information hierarchy that gives the current bonus offer prominent placement, using a progress visualization to communicate the remaining spending requirement alongside the offer’s deadline and terms. Below it, a merchant-offer preview provides access to deals, while categorized benefit cards organize the broader cardholder offering into scannable, actionable sections.

For deal discovery, I designed a consistent merchant-card pattern that accommodates different offer formats, expiration dates, activation controls, and card-specific eligibility indicators. I also organized the browsing experience around available, earned, and expired states, pairing those views with cumulative earnings, location search, and sorting controls.

I adapted the experience for smaller screens by stacking benefit sections and simplifying merchant tiles, preserving recognizable brands and prominent activation actions. This maintained a consistent relationship between the benefits overview and the full deals experience without simply shrinking the desktop layout.

The central design priority was making card benefits understandable and actionable—helping customers see what their card offers, recognize the requirements for earning rewards, and take the next step without navigating disconnected information.
